10 Cozy Winter Diffuser Blends
Winter is not my favorite season but good diffuser blends make everything better.
When it’s cold outside (and I hate being cold), I can diffuse warm and spicy oils like Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Ginger.
I also love adding in citrus oils (my favorite is Orange) to brighten my mood on gray days.
And, of course, there’s all the woodsy oils like Black Spruce, Cedarwood, and Frankincense to make you think of a snow-covered forest.
Whether winter is your season or not, diffusing is a wonderful way to fill your home with holiday smells without any chemicals.
Here are some of my favorite essential oil diffuser recipes to celebrate (or get through) winter.

Other Essential Oils For Winter
I use a lot of Young Living oils and blends.
If you have Young Living blends at home, here are some to diffuse this winter:
- Thieves: Thieves essential oil is great for boosting immunity during the winter and also smells wonderful in the diffuser. Diffuse it by itself or add oils like Orange, Nutmeg, or Ginger for a twist.
- Christmas Spirit: I couldn’t have a post about winter diffuser blends without mentioning Christmas Spirit. This is one of my favorite blends to use all year round but especially fitting for the winter holidays.
- R.C. and Raven: R.C. and Raven are both blends that will really help to purify the air and get you breathing deeply. I find they are great to diffuse during winter when the air can get stuffy.
- Citrus Fresh: This is another of my favorite Young Living blends and could be used in place of Orange in any of the recipes above. I love the combination of different citrus oils, and it goes well with Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom, Nutmeg, and Ginger.
